Equine Sports Alliance to Combine ESA Finals with the Wild West Promotions Finals for Unprecedented Event in November
In response to enthusiastic requests from our members, the Equine Sports Alliance (ESA) is thrilled to announce the merger of their two finals events, the $20,000 added ESA Finals and the $20,000 added Wild West Promotions (WWP) finals. The ESA Finals originally slated for October 4-6 at 4M Equine in Decatur, TX, will move to November. This exciting combination will take place on the originally scheduled Wild West Promotions finals dates, November 22-24, 2024, in Glen Rose, Texas.
The decision to unite these two prestigious events was driven by a desire to enhance the overall experience for our members and contestants. By combining the finals, we aim to reduce travel expenses for participants, compete for more added money on one weekend, and open up opportunities for them to attend other producer events during October. ESA’s mission from the beginning has been to leave the barrel racing industry better than we found it, and this move is a testament to the mission.
The Wild West Promotions finals had previously announced a minimum of $20,000 in added money. With the addition of the ESA finals, which will also contribute a minimum of $20,000 in added funds, the newly merged event will boast a remarkable total of $40,000 in added money. This combination and the increase in added money in one weekend underscores our commitment to providing a premier competition experience.
In addition to the combined added money, we are excited to share that there will be several new and thrilling additions to the event schedule. Further details on these additions will be unveiled in the coming days, promising an enhanced and memorable experience for all participants.
For contestants who have already entered the ESA finals, we will be reaching out directly. You will have the option to either receive a refund or roll your entry fee over to the new combined finals in November.
